Secondlife Drag Queen Contest 2013
In former years a few friends held their Drag Queen contests on Secondlife, just for fun: Male Avatars, dressed up as Females!
In 2013 "Satyricon" took the initiative to have even greater fun and organized a bigger SL. Drag Queen Contest.
Eventually, six Gay Clubs on SL participated and held their own contests. Their pre-selected winners were their representatives at the SL Drag Queen Contest held on February 10th.
Thanks to the generous support of "Marcusgay", offering us a special full Sim, we could create a big pink stage and venue's where the participating clubs presented themselves on this special Sim with their own styling and DJ’s and a lot of partying!!
After the Bitchfights backstage finally they all walked the catwalk in there outrageous outfits . There was lots of champagne, shouting and yelling for the public just like a drag Queen Contest is supposed to be.
A jury, formed by delegates of all the participating clubs, delivered the final score:
No 1: Mercutio Resident - L$ 15.000
No 2: Juve31 Resident - L$ 10.000 + Public price - L$ 4.250
No 3: Fiorino Pera - L$ 5.000
The Public had its own Voting Board to chose their favorites, it resulted in two Drags sharing the first place:
Juve31 and Lupinos Lionheart
After the Contest each Club had their own after party for the public.
It has become a rememberable day and we sincecerly want to thank Marcusgay, all contesters, clubs and the public for this wonderfull day.
